We were fortunate enough to meet two exchange teachers from Canada last year, Erin and Erik Flamino. Quickly, we fell in love with their vivacious personalities and we all became the best of friends. We called ourselves "The Wolfpack", and together, we did the most outrageous things! We even travelled out west to Dingo - that was an adventure I won't forget in a hurry!

| Carl and I travelled to New Zealand with the Flaminos. Had a great time! |
Ron-Yum Barron, Carl and myself are now preparing to head over and spend a month with Erin and Erik. Tonight we embark on our gruelling 28 hour flight, via Dubai, to Toronto airport! We are expecting to freeze for the first few days while our bodies adjust from blistering summer heat in Australia to the frozen, below zero temperatures of Canada! Looks like we'll need to do quite a lot of shopping to prepare ourselves for the ski slopes, where Carl imagines he will be spotted by a talent scout and made famous! In his intoxicated words last night, "I am going to jump over a moose! I will be skiing, see a moose and jump it! Like a pro!" No doubt I'll be typing of our adventures to a Canadian emergency room soon enough!
We are all very excited about our holiday. It is well-deserved and we plan to make the most of it! Who knows, Carl might even come back with another tattoo...?
