Last week, Carl and I decided to take the "bull by the horns" and apply for unpaid leave which would begin in January 2014. While it seems like we have plenty of time to kill before then, we know how quickly time will pass. Before long, we'll be boarding a plane and embarking on one of our live's biggest journeys. The details of our trip are still quite vague and we don't know where we will end up or what we will end up doing, but that's not important! What we do know is that there is a big, wide world out there to explore and we don't want to waste another minute.
Naturally, our absence will leave you deeply saddened and you will spend many lonely nights wondering where we are and what we're doing. Of course, there is always Facebook and Skype but you can't always fit in the time, what with work and sleep. Enter our blog:
